The Government of Haryana has taken the lead in the country in employing drones across departments for effective governance. To its credit, Haryana is the first and only state to have a dedicated, government-owned drone procurement agency. The Drone Imaging and Information Services Agency caters to the requirements of all government departments by providing not just drones but also pilot services for tasks like traffic management, surveillance, volume mapping, spraying of insecticides, and more.
Not just this, the agency is licensed by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to provide training to drone pilots.
As DRIISHYA completes its three years of existence, it joins hands with Elets Technomedia and eGov Magazine to produce a Special Souvenir dedicated to the brilliant work undertaken by departments across the government in the field of drones. The Souvenir is slated to be released by top government functionaries in a dedicated ceremony in the last week of August 2024.
